Exploring is a unique hands-on career exploration program open to young men and women in 6th grade -12th grade and ages 18 to 20. Exploring provides co-ed immersive career Exploration opportunities in 12 career fields to youth in the 12 counties served by the Community Impact District of the Occoneechee Council.
Exploring’s purpose is to provide experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.
Exploring Clubs are for youth in grades 6 – 8. If you are in these grades, please email Regina Johnson at [email protected] (BSA rules prohibit us from gathering online info from youth under age 14).
Exploring Posts are Learning for Life’s career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) or 15 to 20 years old. Completion of the below Career Survey allows our Exploring Executive to match youth to existing Exploring Posts in their areas and/or start a new post to meet the career interests of the youth.
